We have just gone live with a brand-new website promoting Fusion’s innovative and highly successful childcare services. The company has just been awarded the status of ‘outstanding overall effectiveness’ by Ofsted and, having worked closely with the Fusion staff during the development of their website, it’s easy to see why.
Fusion have a clear and distinctive approach to childcare services; they believe that children should play a proactive role in choosing the activities they want to pursue. Rather than providing a standard framework which children are required to fit into, Fusion Childcare Services offers a range of structured and unstructured activities and resources, and asks participants to decide for themselves about how they spend their time.

Fusion asked us for some help with their website after hearing that we have been offering web design in Harpenden for years; we had developed their original site quite some time ago and they felt that it no longer represented where the company had travelled over the past couple of years. We listened carefully to the story of Fusion’s growth, and we took time to understand their childcare philosophy. Once we felt we knew what their vision for the company was, our design team felt confident that we could provide a lively and vibrant website which more accurately represents what they do. Imagefix Brings the Fusion Website to Life
Fusion Childcare Services focuses on the energy, intelligence and resourcefulness of children when given the option to choose the activity they are a part of. We felt it was important to represent these qualities by populating the home page banner with bright, high quality photos, showing children who use the Fusion club, totally absorbed, and engaged in what they’re doing. Proactivity and collaboration are key words for the company, so we made the website user-friendly for children and adults alike. Both groups have their user area but clicking on the ‘Children’ tab in the menu brings up a unique set of attractive visual icons, and a much more colourful and interactive area for the children to use.
Our Fusion website refurbishment emerged out of conversations and observations. We felt we could create a site that was as brim-full of energy and vitality as the clubs themselves – we now look forward to the feedback from adult and children alike to see if we’ve hit the mark!
