Refreshing Bedford’s Harpur Wealth Brand
Harpur Wealth Management, located on the Goldington Road, is a long-time resident of Bedford. They contacted us, back in 2019, on the back of a recommendation from a local property investor whose new website we’d recently completed. Harpur Wealth was looking for a website refresh. Their existing site had become tired over the years, they told us, and they wanted for a design that reflected the company as it is now.
Creating a Brand Identity
Harpur Wealth’s original site was low on imagery and heavy on text. Having learnt about their person-centred approach to business, we suggested new imagery for their site, and a rewrite of their copy. In both cases the aim was to shine a spotlight on the team who deliver professional services, and the clients who benefit from them. The team had grown and diversified since the initial website was created, and Harpur Wealth was keen to reflect this.
A New Set Of Images
New imagery now features on every page of the Harpur Wealth website. Its function is to communicate two key messages that are critical to the business. First, their team imagery demonstrates a refreshing diversity of age, ethnicity and gender. Second, the pictures of clients reveal that wealth management is for people ‘like you and me’ who want to make informed decisions about how to manage their money.
The Imagefix team retouched images where necessary and ensured that each one reflected the standards and professionalism at the heart of the Harpur Wealth ethos.
Web Content
The existing content was refreshed with the aim of removing professional ‘distance’. Instead the copy now speaks directly to people who may be considering wealth management services for the first time. Harpur Wealth asked Imagefix to create a blog for them. Regular blogging keeps website copy refreshed, adds value for visitors, and improves site rankings. To date we have provided two specialist blogs for the page.
