Status Homes is a property development business which delivers high spec homes to purchasers in Bedfordshire, East Anglia and Hertfordshire. The business owner approached Imagefix because he was looking for a website that reflected the key values that drive his business:
We were delighted to take up this challenge, and work with Status Homes to design a responsive, WordPress website.
Websites now have to work as well on mobiles, laptops and tablets as they do on desktops. This means that the design needs to be responsive to whatever the size of the screen it’s being viewed on. Building in this flexibility at the design stage helps with your rankings in the search engines. It also demonstrates to your online visitors that you care about the quality of experience they get when visiting your site.
Our design features dark blue headers and footers to set off the gold of the Status Homes logo. The combination of blue and gold suggests stability, trustworthiness and quality. In-between, good-looking imagery sits on a white background, complemented by concise copy with headings that pick up the gold theme. Navigation buttons are picked out in gold and blue.
Our Status Homes client was pleased with the design team’s response to his brief, and delighted with the responsiveness of the site, no matter what platform it was accessed on. He was happy to sign off on our design in the early stages, and let us develop it across the full range of pages.
We’re always happy to adapt our process to the way clients want to work. In this case it was largely a hands-off process, but we’ve also worked on website designs in which the creative input continues across the entire process.
We’re an experienced design agency with a reputation for high-quality, user-friendly WordPress websites and a friendly, personalised service. For us, the two things go hand-in-hand. All our web designs begin with a conversation in which we get to know our client, their business and what they’re selling. It’s this initial contact that fuels the process for us, and helps us to deliver good-looking websites with a great ROI.
